Excursions - Trips and Excursions
“The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page.” – Saint Augustine
Trips and excursions are an intrinsic part of education at Bhavan. We firmly believe that the joys of outdoors are a great source of learning and it contributes to their understanding of the world. These outings, be it educational or recreational, not only help break the monotony of the daily routine, but also expose young minds to the wonders of nature, foster bonds with each other and their teachers, and improve children’s social and interactive skills. Travelling enriches their experiences and provides exposure to different cultures and lands which helps foster qualities of a global citizen. Every trip helps them to see the world with new eyes, leading to better understanding of themselves and the world they live in. It helps imbibe virtues of tolerance and empathy.
Every year, there are local visits to places of educational and historical interest, class picnics, hiking and trekking trips to exotic hills, short tours to places of interest in different parts of the country, and occasional trips abroad. Some of the trips we have undertaken are:
- NASA, USA
- New Delhi
- Kerala, God’s Own Country
- Manali

- Shimla
- Prashar Lake

- Kasauli
