The Entrepreneurial Edge is an event aimed at bringing together aspiring and innovative entrepreneurs to discuss the latest trends and challenges in the business world. The Conclave will feature a series of exciting and mind-boggling competitions, namely Biz Quiz, Company Board Simulation, The Shark Tank Showdown: Economics Edition, Regulæ Juris and The Traders’ Gambit: Mock Stock. These competitions will involve panel discussions which require knowledge about affairs of the business world, awareness of the stock market and economic reasoning and will delve into a spectrum of topics such as entrepreneurship, innovation and technology, to name a few. The event offers a unique opportunity to learn from the best and connect with like-minded individuals who share a passion for business and entrepreneurship. This summit is a must-attend for anyone who wants to stay ahead of the curve in the rapidly evolving world of business.

BIZ QUIZ:

Biz Quiz is a competitive event designed to evaluate the participants' business acumen, entrepreneurial skills, and general awareness. The competition aims to test participants' knowledge of the latest trends, news, and innovations in the business world, while also testing their analytical and problem-solving skills. The competition typically comprises a series of multiple-choice questions and rapid-fire rounds that cover various business domains such as finance, markets, brands, personalities, current affairs, technology and much more. Participants are expected to answer questions quickly and accurately, demonstrating their ability to think on their feet and under the pressure of limited time.

COMPANY BOARD SIMULATION:

The Company Board Simulation is a captivating and riveting event that enables participants to delve into the realm of corporate leadership. This competitive event places participants in the shoes of high-ranking corporate executives heading various departments and challenges them to navigate through various crises that simulate real-life situations. The participants are expected to use their acute analytical and critical thinking skills to evaluate complex situations, identify potential risks and opportunities, and develop innovative solutions to be implemented. The teams will be selected based on their presentations in the online round. As a team, they must work collaboratively and seamlessly to manage the crises, at the same time preserve the company's assets, reputation and growth rate.

REGULÆ JURIS:

Regulæ Juris is a law-based competition which aims to provide higher thinking and judgement skills to the participants in legal matters. In this competition, the participants will get the opportunity to hone their skills in fictional scenarios based on real-life challenges faced in courts, for which they must give logical solutions. A real-world simulation of courts will allow participants to gain experience of being advocates and participate with a competitive spirit. In the initial stage (Lex Competere), participants will be given a case study/legal issue, based on which they will present their arguments via a video along with a PowerPoint Presentation. The competition will allow the participants to examine their comprehensive skills and also widen their horizons of judicial knowledge.

THE TRADERS’ GAMBIT:

The Traders’ Gambit is a stock market simulation that allows the participants to experience the challenges and excitement brought by buying and selling shares. The primary objective is to earn the highest return on investment by accurately predicting the stock market movements. Participants must demonstrate their knowledge and expertise in financial analysis, market research, and risk management to make informed investment decisions. To make informed decisions, they must consider various factors, such as the company's financial performance, industry trends and competition. In the initial online round, the students will be provided with a case study, based on which they'll have to prepare a problemsolution analysis (PSA) document.

THE SHARK TANK SHOWDOWN:

ECONOMICS EDITION The Shark Tank Showdown is an engaging and exciting take on the popular reality show where budding entrepreneurs present their products in front of investors (sharks), hoping to secure investment. In the first round, contestants will be given four industries to choose from, based on which they will be presenting a hypothetical product/service via a video along with a PowerPoint Presentation. This event will be conducted in three rounds wherein teams will be evaluated based on their creativity, marketing and critical thinking abilities.
