The students of Bhavan Vidyalaya Chandigarh have proven their exceptional mettle once again with their astounding scores in the Class XII CBSE board exams. Continuing with the legacy of setting benchmarks, the students have performed exceptionally well.

SCHOOL TOPPERS

  • 1st – Dhwani Bansal emerged the school toppers with 99.4%.
  • 2nd – Megha Tayal of Humanities stood second in the school with 99.2%%
  • 3rd – Aarushi Suri of Science , Bhoomika Chawla of Commerce  & Mehar Chhabra of Humanities stream stood third in the school with a laudable score of 98.6%.

 STREAM WISE TOPPERS

Commerce

  • Dhwani Bansal emerged the school topper as well as topper of the Commerce Stream with 99.4%. Dhwani Bansal scored perfect hundreds in Business Studies Accounts and Standard Maths.
  • Bhoomika Chawla stood second in the Commerce Stream with 98.6% and scored perfect hundreds in Business Studies and Legal Studies.
  • The third position in Commerce was bagged by Krittika Manocha who scored 98.4 % stood third. She scored perfect hundreds in Business Studies  and Accounts.

Humanities

  • Megha Tayal, who topped the Humanities stream with 2%, scored perfect hundred in History and Political Science has also cleared NTSE STAGE 2- Level.
  • Mehar Chhabar stood second in the Humanities stream with 98.6% and scored perfect hundreds in Legal Studies.
  • The third position in Humanities was jointly bagged by Hari Priya Gautam and Shubhangi Agrawal with 98.4%. Hari Priya Gautam scored a perfect hundred in Political Science & Psychology, while Shubhangi Agarwal scored perfect hundreds in Sociology.

Science

  • Aarushi Suri topped the Medical stream with 98.6%.
  • In the non-medical stream, Lavish Singla, Aakash Singh, Varan Bhatia and Abhay Verma topped the school with 97.4% with Lavish Singla scoring perfect hundred in Standard Maths and Chemistry, Aakash Singh scoring a perfect hundreds in Chemistry and Varan Bhatia in English.  
  •  Vansh Panwar stood third in the Science Stream with 96.6%.

Perfect Hundreds

  • 18 students scored perfect hundreds in Accountancy.
  • 12 students scored perfect hundreds in Legal Studies.
  • 10 students scored perfect hundreds in Business Studies.
  • 5 students secured perfect hundred each in Political Science
  • 4 students secured a perfect hundred each in Chemistry and Hindustani Vocal
  • 3 students secured a perfect hundred each in Standard Math, Psychology and Sociology .

Sports Achievers:

 The sports achievements of this outgoing 12 class are as follows:

  • Devika Sihag of Humanities is a national champion and Top ranked player. She has represented India in Croatian Open Badminton Championship held in 2022 at Zagreb and reached the quarter finals. She has also represented India in (U-19) in World Junior Badminton Championship held in Spain.  At the National level she has won the Bronze medal in Khelo India youth games and won two Gold medals at National Championship in singles and doubles.
  • Shubhrika Raghav of Commerce is a State Shooting Champion and represented at national level competitions. She has won a Bronze Medal in 10mts air pistol U-19 in UT inter-school shooting championship in 2022 and a Gold medal in 10mts air pistol in women under youth category at Shooting Salvo Championship. She also participated in 65th National Shooting Championship held at Bhopal.
  • Sanyam Jain of Commerce is a Bronze Medalist in UT Inter School Basketball Championship.
  • Aakriti Punj and Aas Kaur of Commerce is a Bronze Medalist in UT Inter School Basketball Championship and in Sub Jr. State Basketball Championship.

 

 

 

Impressive Performance by Class X

Eivaksh Aggarwal tops the school with 98.8%

 

Jubilation reigned in the School on Friday, 12th May, as the eagerly awaited results of the Class X - 2022 were declared and school students, once again, proved their mettle in academics by performing wonderfully well. Brilliant effort by the students resulted in an overwhelming response with Eivaksh Aggarwal toping the school by scoring a stupendous 98.8 %. Vandita was placed second with an astounding score of 98.6%, whereas Vania Sethi with a phenomenal 98.4% secured the third position.

In the overall result, out of 158 students who appeared, 87 students scored 90% and above, while 32 students secured between 90-80%, whereas 25 scored between 80-70%.

Besides this prodigious result, the number of children who scored a perfect 100 were as follows, 14 students in Mathematics, 15 students in Social Science, 3 in Science, and 1 in Sanskrit.

?     Eivakash Aggarwal of class X has qualified for IOQJS (Indian olympiad Qualifier in junior science) conducted by IAPT (Indian association of Physics teachers) and HBCSE (Homi bhabha centre for Science Education).

?     She was selected for Young Scientist Program of Indian Space Research Organisation (YUVIKA) organised by ISRO.

?      She even participated in Robotics Workshop at Massachusetts Institute of Technology Museum, Cambridge, MA, USA.

A Fine Balancing Act-Sports Achievements

?     Shiviya Arora a National Level Fencer scored a whopping 94.2%. She is a U-17 Silver, Bronze Medalist in Senior Category Haryana State Fencing Championship and a Silver medalist in Khelo Haryana Games. She has also participated in 36th National Games at Gandhinagar, Gujrat.

?     Karanvir Singh Kang who scored 92% is a National Level Skater who won a Gold Medal in Junior Inline Hockey in 60th National Roller skating championship and in Jr. Inline Hockey at First India Skate Games.

He has also participated in Federation Cup organised by Roller Skating Federation of India. He has won a Gold Medal in Jr. Inline Roller Hockey State Championship.

·        Adhiraj Shaunak with 88.2% is a National Level Skater who has won a Bronze Medal in the 60th National Roller Skating Championship held at Bangalore. He has also won a Silver and a Bronze Medal in Jr. Inline Hockey at First India Skates and Chandigarh State Roller Skating Championship respectively.  

?     Shaurya Raghav a budding shooter who won Gold Medal in Chandigarh Inter School Shooting Championship scored 86.8%. He has won three Silver Medals in Chandigarh State Shooting Championship. 

?     Akul Sharma who won a Bronze Medal in 42nd Chandigarh State Jr. Boxing Championship scored 86.2%.

?     Charvi Vaid who scored 82% is seasoned Golfer. She is a 2nd Position holder in Chandigarh Open Amature Golf Tournament. She also won winners position in Category A in Sub Junior and Junior Golf Tournament organised by Chandigarh Golf Club.

?     Jasmeet Kaur who scored 79% is a promising Badminton Star. She represented Chandigarh State (U-17) at Sub Jr National Badminton Championship held at Bhubaneswar.  

?     Arnav Jain who has scored 73% is National Level Skater. He has a number of Medals to his credit a Gold Medalist in Junior Inline Hockey Championship, a participant at Chandigarh at Federation Cup organised by Roller Skating Federation of India, a Silver Medal in Inline Roller Hockey in Senior Men’s Category.   He has also won a Gold Medal in Jr. Inline Hockey at First India Skates Games besides this he has won a Gold medal in Jr. Inline Roller Hockey in Chandigarh State Roller Skating Championship.

?     Ishaan Sihag who scored 75.8% is an upcoming Badminton Star who won a Gold medal in North Zone Championship held at Jammu and participated in Inter Zonal Badminton Championship at Pune. He won both U-17 Single and Doubles at 55th Haryana State Sub Jr. Badminton Championship. He also won a Bronze Medal at Yonex Sunrise Ashwani Gupta Memorial Haryana State Junior & Senior Badminton Championship in 2022. He represented Haryana State at Sub Jr National Badminton Championship held at Bhubaneswar.
